Hi,
I've just installed Ubuntu 4.10 on my Fujitsu-Siemens
Amilo M laptop and can't get my modem to connect.
I used network-admin command and network wizard to
setup but it can't detect my modem (Fujitsu HSP56 MR).
Although lspci did report my modem controller:
>> Intel Corp. 82440MX AC'97 Modem Controller
This is the error printed on terminal everytime I
tried to activate the modem:
>> ** (network-admin:4153): CRITICAL **:FILE
gst-report-line.c: line 197
(gst_report_line_new_from_string): assertion `major
!=GST_MAJOR_INVALID' failed
Another thing /dev/modem doesn't exist.
Can someone help me please.
Thanks.
