I don't think the win4lin patches will included in ubuntu by a
cannonical developer because they are non-free.
if you apt-get kernel sources you should be able to apply the patch.
Use apt-get and not the raw kernel from linus as debian and ubuntu
patches to the kernel are more important now than ever.
