an update on this bug in Gnome.  First it was marked as an Gnome
upstream bug (http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=157225).  But
recently it was found to be duplicate of a 2 1/2  year old Gnome bug,
still open with the severity "minor" 
(http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=92188).  One interesting
note:  the original reporter in August 2002 was Jeff Waugh :)
