i run it fine on a old sony laptop with the following specs:
P3 600Mhz
256MB Memory
9GB Disk
even if there are actually little noticeable speedups if you compare it
to a 3Ghz System, it works pretty fine for my everyday tasks.
i think you could go also with 500Mhz but would recommend any additional
memory you can get your hands on. traditionally linux speeds up with
more mem.
