For some reason, the mplayer package included in Warty (multiverse) is broken.
But the source package was ok: you just need to download and compile it,
which boils down to:
1. Add a deb-src entry for multiverse
2. apt-get source mplayer
3. apt-get build-dep mplayer
4. cd mplayer-<version> && fakeroot dpkg-buildpackage
Anyway, Hoary has a perfectly working mplayer package. When Hoary releases,
you'll just need to install this along with w32codecs from Marillat's
repository, then sit down and enjoy the movie :-)
