another usbdisk glitch

My usbdisk mounting and unmounting was working great following the
latest kernel update (without needing to use the noinotify option) but
I'm now having problems unmounting following today's updates.

The symptoms are:
when I hotplug my usbdisk the Removable Media icon appears on the
desktop as normal but having closed the nautilus window I then right
click the drive icon and click unmount and I get an error telling me
that it can't unmount because the drive is busy:

umount: /media/usbdisk: device is busy
umount: /media/usbdisk: device is busy
Error: umount failed

I get the same message if I try to use umount from the command line. The
drive does disappear if I unplug the usbdisk but I guess it's not
recommended to unplug without unmounting.
