Install Directory

I was just wondering.  Where is a good place to install files that 
install using a .bin file?  For example, I am currently installing 
RealPlayer for Linux from "RealPlayer10GOLD.bin".
It asks me:
"Enter the complete path to the directory where you want RealPlayer to 
be installed.  You must specify the full pathname of the directory and 
have write privileges to the chosen directory.
Directory:  [/home/user/RealPlayer]:    "

What should I put?
