Gnome taskbar

Hello all,
I have a question about the Gnome taskbar. 
The windows that are showed in the taskbar are really small. Normally, a
window would look like this

<icon of the program> Mozilla Firefox

But I only see
<icon of the program> M...

Normally, you would only see this when the taskbar is full and the
buttons are shrinked to make space, but I even get this behaviour with
only one (1) window open.
