Syncing palm and evolution

I had a lot of problems with syncing my Palm and I finally got it to
work.

Initially whenever I tried to sync the Palm I used to get a "control
timeout on ep0out" message in the kernel logs. I fixed this by adding a
"noapic" option while booting.

Next I had a problem with a "control timeout on ep0in" message in the
kernel logs. I solved this problem by removing the ohci_hcd module
(rmmod ohci_hcd). I believe this can be automated during boot-time by
additing ohci_hcd to the file/etc/hotplug/blacklist.

Then I used /dev/ttyUSB1 and voila my Palm synced without any
problems.
