Presumably doing this simply alteres the relevent gconf entry. So if
you wanted to have your script not open a folder but other inserts to
open one then you could simply alter the gconf entry in your script to
not show, then do your mounting, then alter it back so that it does
show. Im afraid Im not at home now so cant look which gconf entry you
need...
