But Hoary IS in beta (or perhaps, somewhere between alpha and beta).
NO ONE should even be considering running Hoary unless they have some
experience in linux already and an understanding that things might not
work just so, out of the box. The idea behind ubuntu empowering folks
to run frequent updates of Hoary is precisely to help out with bug
reports and such, I would imagine. If someone is fairly new to
Linux/Unix, and unsure of how to edit config files or google for
repair tips, it should be made VERY clear that they may want to wait
for the offcial release of Hoary before risking an upgrade. Upgrade
with caution, understanding the risks, or stick with Warty which is a
fine version and quite stable. A six month upgrade cycle should be
fast enough for most users, no??
