I'm one of those who fell for the temptation. (I really did need
Firefox 1.0 for one particular site I used frequently.) How do I fix
this before attempting the Hoary upgrade? Do I apt-get remove the
packages I got from backports just before changing all instances of
warty to hoary and doing a dist-upgrade?

I'm not planning to upgrade until official release in April. Has
anyone else tried upgrading after using backports? What happened?
