I'm starting to feel this too, I installed the backport of Firefox 1.0, but
I still have 0.9.3 running.  I'm unsure of what to do to fix it, but what I
think I'm going to do is install Hoary from Array 5, and then never do
another backport install.  I love the stableness and structure of Ubuntu as
far as the integration with apt-get, I don't need to break that (as I
*always* did with my Gentoo desktop).
