Hi Philippe.

To create a .zip archive just open the console and
zip -r [ARCHIVE].zip [DIRECTORY1] [DIRECTORY2]

To view the content of the archive you can
unzip -l [ARCHIVE].zip

and to finally unzip the archive just type
unzip [ARCHIVE].zip
