quake2 package

I saw that the quake2 package in ubuntu is missing some files:
-rw-r--r--  1 root root 260644 2002-07-12 22:12 ref_glx.so
-rw-r--r--  1 root root 233508 2002-07-12 22:12 ref_sdlgl.so
-rw-r--r--  1 root root 209412 2002-07-12 22:12 ref_softx.so

only
-rw-r--r--  1 root root 184708 2002-07-12 22:12 ref_soft.so
-rw-r--r--  1 root root 188420 2002-07-12 22:12 ref_softsdl.so

are present. this allows to play quake2 only in sdl software mode, and
not using the gl extensions. I copied the files over from the woody
.deb, and they work fine. is there a special reason why this files have
been removed? should I file a bug?
