Hoary : installing gFtp : interactions with OO2 ??

forgot to add, that after installing gFtp, I had no icon whatsoever in
the Applications menu, and no way to edit the menu to add one.
Had to fire it up by hand from a terminal... how elegant... 

Please God, please give us a decent GUI to edit the menu in Hoary. Do we
have to go down on our knees....
