you're not the only one... it appears to be some sort of browser mime
type issue... right clicking on an image and selecting "save link as",
then when Firefox has finished saving it, opening the item from
firefoxes download history window will open it in Inkscape... so I
think his website isn't telling firefox correctly what the item is.
