Multi-Sector I/O using hdparm

I was just wondering, is it a bad idea to use hdparm -m to enable 
"multiple sector I/O"?  I don't really know much about this, as I was 
reading through the man page.
Here are a few things from "hdparm -i" that I think might pertain to 
the topic:
Model=WDC WD1200JB-75CRA0
DTR>5Mbs
BuffType=DualPortCache
BuffSize=8192kB
MaxMultSect=16
MultSect=off
AdvancedPM=no
WriteCache=enabled

Any ideas?
