Upgrade manager and debconf GNOME frontend

Ubuntu Upgrade Manager is slick.

I've noticed that when I use it to upgrade packages, I see the following
lines at the top of the terminal output:

  debconf: unable to initialize frontend: Gnome
  debconf: (Unable to load Gnome -- is libgnome2-perl installed?)
  debconf: falling back to frontend: Dialog

Is there a dependency missing?
