In Windows, I could get a degree sign either through Character Map or typing ALT+0186 on the key pad. I have checked Character Map in Ubuntu but even with changing the font I could only get A-Z and 0-9. I only have a laptop keyboard attached to my PC, which I have tried to get with using Fn+Alt+0186 but no (Command came with keyboard.) Any suggestions?
