Acer aspire 1360, can get 1280*800 in windows but not in Linux

Setting up the above dual boot system for a friend to help wean him off
Windows.  Have got the nvidia drivers working but cant get above
1024*800 (can get much higher res in Windows).  Anyway below I post some
relevent bits of XF86Config-4, has anyone got any ideas?
