VMware : can't boot the CD !

Hey.....!!  You forgot to say Win XP rocks  ;-)
Seriously, is running M$ Office your primary use for VMware? 
OpenOffice.org 1.1.x runs my office needs (and I work with mostly
windows users) just fine.
