you can use the terminal servies client to remote into the box after
connectiion, that is if your Windows box has a terminal server
installed (on the windows server cd if you need to install it ) go to
http://pptpclient.sourceforge.net/howto-debian.phtml and install the
client and follow the how to, this is for debian. Should take care of
most of your issues.
