This is exactly the point: helping users to feel more comfortable with the
system.

Unfortunately, the installer is a long-standing disadvantage of alternative
operating systems.  This is not because they have inferior installers: in
fact, many Linux distributions have more polished installers than Windows.
It is because most computer users never need to think about installing an
operating system, because it comes preinstalled on their computer.
