And that makes sense, except that it should grab the whole desktop.
Print screen normally grabs the entire frame buffer. Using the Alt
+print screen method grabs the active window. If you are just at the
desktop, with no windows active/focused, it will grab the whole
desktop.
I'm using Hoary, not sure if there is different behaviour in Warty
though.
