Nope - Ive been using this applet for ages and it sufferes the same problem. 
Its all part of testing, there have been more annoying bugs earlier on
so cant complain, Im also a poor programmer so cant help fix them :( 
just enjoy the fact that you are helping bug report :) - if you want
someting that works all the time then stay with warty until april..
