pendrive mounting problems

You might try one of the following. Run the command dmesg and see if
anything's changed and also restart hotplug or udev. Of course this
shouldn't be necessary but who knows. Usually when things are missing
from /dev/ it's a udev thing but something hotplug is the problem.
