nc6000 acpi

I've just installed Hoary and the latest updates on a new HP Compaq 
nc6000. Everything seems to work, except for some acpi issues.

Some features work, eg I can throttle the CPU. But there's no fan 
control, and sometimes kacpid runs away with all the cpu.

I've googled around but can't find any fixes. I'll be happy to file and 
pursue a bug report if that's appropriate.
