Hi Matt,

I am glad you are back :-) please tell me where I should file my bug,
and what the workaround is ?

In the meantime, I did like Matthew told me, I disable vbesave with
"chroot a-x". it boots normally now and you are right, it works MUCH
better than when starting GDM by hand from the command line in
'recovery' mode.

As requested, I attached the output of the 'dmidecode' command. Hope
that helps.
