And install the ISO from a local hard drive as well ?!

Well, if that's the only problem, then let's say we give up floppies.
Let's say we either use ZIP dirve or a USB memory stick. So that gives
us more MB to fit the kernel. I think modenr machines can boot from
pretty much anything these days, so should be okay ?
