Apache SSL by default?

Hello,

I just started setting up a server box at home with Ubuntu.  Decided
to risk installing Warty but changing the repositories to Hoary and
upgrading.

I was surprised to find that regular HTTP support was not installed,
but HTTPS support via apache-ssl was.  I can't find any information
about this decision on the Ubuntu wiki or other Ubuntu web pages.

Or did I make some mistake in the installation.
