MP3 Ripping In Rhythmbox.

I have found out how to get MP3 playback working with
Rhythmbox through the Forum, but how do I enable MP3
ripping? I imagine it has something to do with
Gstreamer, but what? I realize that this is a toucy
issue these days due to the witch hunt going on, but I
want to rip to MP3 files from some of my CDS so that I
can burn MP3 audio CD compendiums that my Discman can
play.
