I was able to fine Ubindu Warthy repository, from where I can download *.deb
files on the following address:http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/
However, I could not finde package "g77" main or any other repository.
I would also like to know, what is the easiest way (for an newbie) to
install packages form *.deb files.
Thanks again for any replies!
Ales

Thank you for your answer.
Unfortunatly, I can not connect to internet with may Ubuntu (my modem does
not work). I appogoise for not mentioning this earlier. Is it possible to
somwhere obtain them and dowload them under windows (such as .deb file) and
then transfer them to Ubuntu?
Thanks again!

Check out the packages *g77* and *f2c*. g77 is in the Ubuntu main
repository, and f2c is in the universe repository.
