Fwd: vmware under hoary

hello,
thanks for your help.
i did not build my own kernel in this ubuntu-notebook.
i just get it with apt-get dist-upgrade
and i installed after the dist-upgrade the sources
and i thought that they are suitable, but it seems that vmware does
not agree with me.
can you help me with it?
