Well, I started with my very first computer on February 18th 2004 and
installed my first Mandrake on June 5th the same year.
You can be sure I knew what I was doing!
I asked several dozens of questions day and night for 5 weeks on a forum.
I'm still on this forum, it's a nice community (framasoft.org).

If you need no dual-boot, it's ok, but if you want to study computing,
you need to learn the basics anyhow, and cannot ignore the rules for
dual-boot, and even less contribute to repeat such fortunes.
