Given that there have been a few negative posts on this project I
figured I should post a few of the comments from their website (FYI I
didn't get it to work... it doesn't seem to be able to connect ;-).
Summary: runs Mandrake, is known not to work for everyone
(firewall/NAT issues?), site/demo runs on five year old servers,
servers are having "issues"
PS Have no affiliation with this project/never heard of it before
today... found the comments in this thread a little too knee-jerk for
my taste.

Welcome to Workspot's Linux & VNC demo. When you use the workspot
desktop, this is the mechanism that displays the Linux desktop. So if
this demo works for you, through your forewall, the workspot service
will work for you. Currently, this demo runs Mandrake's Linux distro
with the Gnome V2 desktop.
This demo will automatically expire after 10 minutes. If you finish
using the demo before that time, please click the 'Disconnect' button
below. Thank you!

Goal:
provide faster & more reliable servers for this demo (ours are 5 years
old, and fail often).
Please note: we are not taking more subscribers, because we are
experiencing equipment failures at a high rate. If you are in the
position to donate rackspace, or new servers, please contact us.
