USB 2.0 problems after Breezy upgrade

No, I am running a stock kernel. The new one that just came with the
Breezy upgrade in fact.

I also have good news, I got usb 2.0 working again. I had to turn off
the computer, unplug it from the wall, press the power button to
discharge the supply, then plug it back in and turn it on. Simple
reboots had no effect on the problem. Apparently it was just a buggy usb
2.0 card. We'll see if it crashes again later on. It might have been
something as simple as two different drivers loading and frieking out a
cheap usb 2.0 card.
