Slow Printing on Brother HL-5050 -- More Memory?

Couldn't even get those to work. I created the symlink as they noted, I
did see a new printer appear under the Brother list in the Add Printer
wizard, but that wouldn't even print.

I'll ask the CUPS folks what they think. I think they have a
Brother-oriented mailing list.
