I've found a book called "SQL in Easy Steps" by Mike mcGrath to be quite
useful. It is published by a British firm called Computer Step. Be
forewarned, though. The book is command line oriented! The MySQL manual
at Mysql's website is also quite interesting reading!

Good luck and Merry Christmas!
