If you have set it up, you know it isn't difficult, but never the
less, it is a step that the average non-technical user performing the
install themselves are quite unlikely to take.
Even if they do, 'mdadm -F' isn't automatically stuck into a crontab
somewhere, so they would not get any extra notifications even if they
did configure software raid.
