BitTorrent service on Dapper...

Hey all, I was just playing with the recent Dapper Fieldtest 2 Live CD and
noticed it stopped a BitTorrent service when I shut the box down.

What service is this?  I know BitTorrent, but wasn't aware of any
projects/aims to run it as a system level service hidden away.

Does a default installation of Dapper connect up to any trackers and/or seed
files by default at all?   Also, which BitTorrent client connects into this
running backend service?
