had an interesting time looking at the statistics for spam at a customer
site. 1100 messages, 14,000 messages spam. I really need to put good
statistics gathering inside of camram so I can see if this is a trend or
a spike. Someday.

that's a mixed blessing. I'm occasionally blocked by a couple black
hole lists (pobox comes to mind) even though the AUP I spend good money
on every month says I can run my own servers.
this is one of the reasons why I took the proof of work stamp concept
one step further and created "brown hole lists". It's the same as a
black hole except if you make a big enough stamp (two bits more than
normal or eight times delay), you can bypass the brown hole to make your
presence known and hopefully be taken off of the list.
