First lines of dmesg

Hi Friends.

Where are the First lines of the output of dmesg command?

When i type dmesg in my Ubuntu GNU/Linux system, i can't see the
"tipycal" 2 or 3 lines telling what version of the kernel is it, system
where was compiled, version of the gcc used, etc...

Anybody knows?.
