Hello from an Ubuntu newbie

Hi List!

I'm new to Ubuntu, but not really new to Linux.  I wanted to take a
minute to say hello.  Hello.  

I'm running Dapper Drake on an HP Pavilion dv1340us.  It installed
without problem.  So far everything works, although, I have not tried
the wireless connection yet.  I have two questions I wanted to pose to
the list:
1. Is this the correct list to ask general Ubuntu questions when I'm
running Dapper Drake? If so,
2. When I start Supertux in full-screen mode I'm left with a black
border around the screen.  The play area appears to remain the same size
as non full-screen mode.  Does anyone know how to fix this?
