Hello,

Someone may be able to tell you what the problem is, but I think it
would be very helpful to also include the "global" section from your
samba.conf file.  One major thing is that it tells you whether you are
using "user" or "share" type sharing.  Also, what kind of user where
you when you went to edit the file (Admin or non, e.g.).
