We're talking about the Ubuntu breakage caused by mailx and postfix
no longer being installed. Wizards with time on their hands can
change *anything* post-install. Ubuntu (or if not, then Kubuntu)
needs to provide a system that's not broken upon installation.
If you can fit multiple MTA's on the CD and implement a selection
mechanism perhaps along the lines of Grub/Lilo, then please do so.
Presumably naive users would not be asked such a difficult
question and would be given postfix which is sufficient to their
needs albeit perhaps not as small as less versatile MTA's.
Until then, we need to provide mailx and postfix in the default
install.
