<mail> command missing?

But Postfix is huge overkill.  If (*)ubuntu-desktop required
<mail-transport-agent> (the minimum mailx would seem to need is esmtp) and
recommended postfix, I'd be happy enough.  Removing mailx is not "dumbing
down", it's crippling.
