Screen Lock rejects password

Ok if your XSession was locked, did you try unlocking it with your
normal login password. Do you have multiple accounts on this computer,
if so are you using the right password for the right user? If you are
confident that you are doing everything right, then can try the following.
You can switch to the first virtual terminal by pressing
CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+F1 then login using the same username and password as
your current xsession. If you can then you are login password is working
and there is something wrong with screen lock. But if you can't login,
then you have changed your password while playing with samba or other
settings. Then the solution would be to try the passwords that you think
you set for samba.
