[classic vi] ARe: I can't seem to build pine on ubuntu the saga: now it's cc errors??

Yeah, but vim really IS VImproveed and it does a fairly good job of
emulating the old vi if you want it to... If I remember right, if
instead of a .vimrc it finds an old .exrc, it does a better job of it.

Really, I like vim better (largely for the :help command) but if I
happen to be where the classic vi hasn't yet superseded it, then I will
use true vi gracefully. As MOST of the usage skills transfer back just
fine.
