Sort of.  A compatible WIFI card such as my trusty Orinico card works
in the PCMCIA port, which enables wireless.  The linux-on-laptops shows
the wireless cards to work with the R4000, however, most threads here
show it to be quite painful.  Some peole suggest using a compatible car
instead of the broadcomm.

But the lan is okay for.  At 8 lbs, I don't move the laptop around
much. :)
